I went into Core De Force as a bit of a skeptic. But afterwards, I was blown away by how much I loved this program and the amazing results.
What is Core De Force?
Core De Force is one of Beachbody’s newest fitness programs. It’s 30-day explosive MMA (mixed martial arts) inspired total body program.
The amazing Core De Force program was created by the incredible trainers Joel & Jericho.
Martial arts is not my strong suit. When I first started this program, I felt awkward throwing a punch. (It’s not like I’m throwing them outside of my workouts! HA!) And to be honest, I still don’t feel comfortable throwing a punch. I doubt many people feel comfortable with it except professional fighters! But the only way to see results is if you go outside your comfort zone and try the things that scare you. So I did.
This total body workout was designed to blast fat, carve your waistline, increase strength, and tone your muscles. Just 30 days. No equipment necessary.
What Does the Program Require?
Your Body Weight + Hard Work + Discipline = RESULTS
And I did just that: I worked my tail off.
My Personal Review of Core De Force
I was just 3 months postpartum when I started this program. Going into my first round of Core De Force I hopes of simply maintaining my weight. I wanted to focus on core strength, which this program is built to do.
The Learning Curve
I'm not going to lie, before I started this program I was a bit of a skeptic. It's a mixed martial arts style workout and I felt a huge insecurity about a kick box type of workout. As I said, I felt awkward when I punched and even more so throwing a kick. The first one or two workouts were awkward. I should have filmed it so you could have got a good laugh about it. I had no clue what I was doing. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure I was getting a good workout in at first. The round was over before I felt like I knew what I was doing. Has this happened to anyone else!?
The beauty of it though, is that for each of the workouts there’s a complimentary “Learn it, Work it” video, each about 5-7 minutes long. These short videos work as tutorials and walk you through each of the moves you will do in the workout.
How Long Are the Core De Force Workouts?
After getting through the tutorial videos, each workout is 27-45 minutes long, which is totally doable as a working mom. I have two kids two and under, I work as a Beachbody Coach and work 32 hours as week as a Nurse Practitioner. I woke up a little early before getting ready for work and knocked those workouts out before the kids were out of bed!
After I Got the Hang of it, I Feel in Love!
The trainers of this program say they want you to feel like a badass, and you do.
You learn these moves quickly and it truly is an empowering feeling. Every move, every punch, every kick is designed to whittle at your core. There were strength moves (hello, push-ups) I had never done before. By the end of 30 days, I was much stronger than I began. With each workout, I felt more coordinated. This meant I was able to focus more on putting maximum effort into every move.
Not only are the workout programs incredible, but they work your core like crazy! In addition, there are two core specific workouts—one is 5 minutes long, the other 15 minutes. And I saw a huge change in the definition of my stomach as a result of this program.
The Core De Force Nutrition Plan
The nutrition plan was awesome (the BBQ Chicken Pita Pizza was off the hook), and I never once felt hungry or deprived. Trust me, you get to eat, and eat a lot, on this plan. No calorie counting. No starving yourself.
Just good old clean eating and portion control. You fuel your body properly to maximize your metabolism. Pair that with Shakeology, exercise, and accountability/support, you I have no doubt you will see changes in your body!
My Core De Force Results
My goal was not to lose weight, it was to build strength, but I am actually quite surprised at the inches lost! I have no doubt in my mind that this program will strengthen your core.
Weight Loss: 2 pounds (losing weight wasn’t even my goal)
Inches Lost: 4.25 inches (1” from the waist!!)
All when I was 4 only months postpartum!

What Was the Key to My Success?
I had a group of men and women doing the program right alongside me in my health and accountability group. I have no doubtthat was what helped me to be successful.
I'm not going to lie, these 30 days were tough. My 3-month-old son had gone through a sleep regression. Think waking every 3 hours during the night (read about our struggle here). So was it always easy to get up at 5AM and workout? Heck no. But, I did it. My husband was there with me, my challengers were right there with me. Together we all worked our butts off to finish this program and see results.

My opinion got for the All-Access if you wan to go digital: I feel like the All-Access membership (option 1) is a much better bang for your buck. For just a little bit more, you’ll get a full year of streaming access instead of just 90 days.
