It’s been over a year now since the quarantine life began — A YEAR! And, unfortunately, so many of us lost a lot of things: jobs, experiences, travel. But, aside from that, I’ve spoken to so many who have lost confidence! They’ve lost their gyms, community, and even hope.

One of the few things that have held me together this year is my virtual community! Being around others like me who are so desperately holding onto the few things we can control like our fitness and nutrition, has been so helpful! My at-home workouts are always accessible and I’ve had an easy-to-follow nutrition plan that still allows me to enjoy treats and wine or beer (because let’s be real, it’s been necessary at times this year)!

What is Let’s Get Up!?

Let’s Get Up! is unlike anything Shaun has done before — he’s combined his love for fitness and dance to create something that will change your life. It’s a program that is for anyone and everyone that wants something to look forward to each day! A time to unwind, unplug, create strength, results, have a little fun, and most of all, feel confident in your own skin!

I had the chance to sample a workout in Fall of 2020, and then again with the free sample workout available now (find the video below!!) — and I cannot wait for this full program! It combines some Insanity-style moves (one of my favorite programs) with bodyweight strength training and cardio dance sequences! Not only that but with 2 days/week of weight lifting, I have no doubt this program is going to be one to remember!

The goal of Let’s Get Up!? To have so much fun it doesn’t feel like you’re working out! Are you ready?!?! 

Let’s Get Up Program Breakdown:

  • Daily Commitment: 30-35 minutes, 6 days/week
  • Equipment Needed: Light to medium dumbbells
  • Best For: Boosting metabolism, burning fat, losing weight (if that’s the goal) and sculpting the entire body.

What type of workout is Let’s Get Up!?

As you may have been able to tell by the video above: It's a little bit of everything — yet nothing like you’ve ever done before. Let’s Get Up is everything that Shaun T is known for and loves bundled into one program. It’s for all fitness levels, from the seasoned athlete looking for a fun program to the person who hasn’t exercised at all in the last year!

Here’s what you can expect:

  • You’ll have 4 days/week of cardio conditioning that includes fun cardio dance segments that will increase your heart rate and torch calories! 
  • There will also be bodyweight resistance training to help tone muscles and gain strength.
  • And INSANITY-inspired fitness moves to the beat of music. 
  • You’ll also finish with rhythmic stretching to help you gain flexibility and help your body recover and prepare for your next workout.
  • Two days each week will utilize dumbbell strength training to help build muscle, maximize your metabolism, and burn even more fat! 

Do you get bored easily? Do you want variety with your workouts? This is for you! 

Did the words “dance workout” put you off?

Honestly, dance workouts aren’t usually my thing either, but this program is so much more! 

The “dance” segment is only a SMALL portion of the 4 cardio conditioning workouts each week. Plus, they’re paired with bodyweight resistance and stretching, you’ll be having so much fun that you will blink and your 30-minute workout will be complete!

In fact, most of the Test Group participants said that of the 1500+ workouts available on Beachbody on Demand, this is their favorite program! They also said that it’s the first time they’ve woken up every morning EXCITED to workout — and I think you can agree, that’s something we could ALL use in our lives.

Trust me, I am NOT coordinated! I was petrified to dance at high school dances because I lacked the confidence to move my body. But I LOVE music, I love Shaun T, and no one will be there in my basement with me to judge me. LOL! 

Another thing I also love about the program compared to other dance workouts is that there’s a preview of the upcoming move at the bottom of the screen. That way you can know what’s coming and you can prepare! I know I’ll need this, haha! This program will push me outside of my comfort zone, but I am so excited to do it with you!
