Babies Update:

They are growing right on track, thankfully!

Weight Gain:

16–17.5 lbs depending on the day! Right on track to hit at least 20 pounds by 20 weeks (my doc said she will be thrilled if it was more, even!)

Movement:

I’ve DEFINITELY felt flutters, and cannot wait for the next few weeks as I know the movements will really be noticeable!

Symptoms:

Honestly, I have NO complaints — my rib/back pain continues to bother me somewhat, but the last week has been much better overall. My chiropractor actually told me a rib had “popped out,” and it’s been much better since I started seeing her again. I plan to see her weekly throughout my pregnancy.

Cravings/Food Aversions:

Cravings:
No real cravings lately, just enjoying any and all food! And, I have to say, my sister’s birthday cake this last weekend was AMAZING. I certainly treated myself to a piece multiple days — coconut cake with coconut filling and buttercream frosting?! Yes, please!

Aversions:
Coffee and alcohol still don’t sound good at all.

Purchasing/Borrowing:

A sweet girl from a local Moms of Multiples group gifted us a double bassinet Pack n’ Play. We also purchased a Halo Bassinet Twin sleeper that I had heard AMAZING things about, yet I didn’t want to spend the price for a brand new one (they are NOT cheap). So, when I heard she was selling hers, I was ecstatic — it sure is making it seem more real!

Maternity Clothes:

I bought a new maternity dress for my upcoming national Beachbody Coaching conference in Indianapolis, and got a Stitch Fix box with a super cute 4th of July outfit I’m excited for! H! (The little things!)

If you haven't tried Stitch Fix before, you can USE THIS LINK and get $25 off your Stitch Fix order, they have AMAZING maternity outfits!

Exercise:

The last few weeks I have been doing a workout program, LIIFT4, that is so perfect for the busy woman during summer! It’s a mix of lifting and HIIT, which is one of my favorite ways to exercise. Best of all, it's just 4 days a week!

I’m also still swimming at least 1 day a week and cycling 1-2 days per week. Thankfully, I can do most things while pregnant, just substitute some of the traditional core moves for ones that are pregnancy safe.

However, a BRAND NEW program releases this month, and I decided to do VIP early access so I could try out the first 10 workouts! So, after I try those 10, I’ll mix in some of LIIFT4 (as it’s my favorite program), but I’ll commit 100% to Morning Meltdown 100 beginning July 29th, when the entire program officially releases.

Best Moments:

Learning the genders of the babies! And, those ultrasounds are SO amazing. The detail is incredible, and I’m just so thankful for their health and growth so far.

Missing:

Nothing at the moment!

Looking Forward To:

Feeling the babies move, spending the holidays with our family, and, starting to plan the twins’ nursery!!
